2. Nature of our services

InsureShip offers shipping insurance for packages in transit, offered through participating online stores, and administers related claims. InsureShip is an insurance agency, not an insurance company. Coverage is underwritten by Navigators, a Hartford company. All coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions of the applicable policy or certificate and any endorsements, which alone determine whether and how much a loss is covered. Coverage availability, eligibility, and pricing may vary by state and may change. Coverage may be temporarily unavailable in a state, including while a license renewal is under review.

3. Merchant relationship disclosure

Stores and merchants that offer InsureShip coverage at checkout are not InsureShip's agents and are not insurers. They cannot bind coverage, change policy terms, or decide claims. The insurance premium is charged on InsureShip's own merchant account. InsureShip pays participating merchants advertising revenue for promoting InsureShip insurance.
