Every lost, stolen or damaged package costs a merchant twice: once in the replacement, and again in the customer’s trust. InsureShip was built to fix that with real, licensed insurance, not a fee that only looks like protection.
Since 2009 we’ve focused on one thing: shipping insurance for online sellers. Today we work with Shopify stores, DTC brands, subscription businesses, fulfillment companies and high-volume shippers, and we handle the claims so their teams don’t have to.

Checkout shipping insurance
Free to add to your store. Shoppers choose coverage at checkout, and pricing is flexible: set by InsureShip or by you.
Enterprise bulk shipment coverage
For high-volume and B2B shippers insuring their own outbound shipments at $1,000 per $50,000 insured ($2.00 per $100).
Advertising partnerships
Your store’s traffic has value beyond product sales. InsureShip pays qualifying merchants for advertising space that connects shoppers with shipping insurance. Advertising rates depend on your store’s audience, placement and eligibility. Final rates are subject to review and agreement.

Founder & CEO, InsureShip
Walt founded InsureShip and has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. He started InsureShip to give ecommerce merchants something they couldn’t easily find: licensed, compliant shipping insurance instead of unregulated “package protection.”
Under Walt’s leadership, InsureShip has operated under the InsureShip name since 2009, become licensed nationwide and built integrations with the platforms merchants use every day.
