InsureShip Integrations: Shipping Insurance for Every Platform
Find your cart, checkout funnel or marketplace and see how to offer licensed, opt-in shipping insurance to your customers.
Talk to InsureShipReviewed by Kyle Gibson, Compliance Auditor · Updated October 2026
Key takeaways
- InsureShip is integrated with every cart, funnel and marketplace in the "Integrated platforms" groups below. The integrations were built with our fulfillment partner RapidFulfillment.
- Turning one on is a request, not a build: contact us, and we enable the integration for your store.
- Zen Cart, osCommerce and Salesforce Commerce Cloud are not on that list. They connect through InsureShip's API or a custom integration.
- Marketplaces control their own checkout, so marketplace integrations insure your shipments as the seller, not as a buyer add-on.
- Coverage reaches up to $5,000 per shipment for loss, damage and theft, including porch piracy.
How does InsureShip work with my store?
- Contact InsureShip. Tell us which platform you sell on.
- We enable the integration for your store. For integrated platforms there is no API build on your side.
- Choose an opt-in checkout presentation (or, for marketplaces, which shipments to insure). InsureShip recommends, and configures by default, an opt-in (unchecked) offer.
- Customers or sellers file claims at /pages/file-claim. InsureShip handles every claim.
Integrated platforms: funnel and subscription carts

Integrated marketplaces: can marketplace sellers get shipping insurance?
Yes. InsureShip is integrated with Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart Marketplace and TikTok Shop (built with RapidFulfillment), so shipments for your marketplace orders can be insured. Marketplaces control their own checkout, so this is seller-side coverage, not a buyer add-on. Each guide also explains the protections the marketplace already includes and where gaps remain.
Amazon sellers
Where Buy Shipping claim protection stops for orders you ship yourself.
eBay sellers
eBay ShipCover rates, limits and claim timing, and where seller coverage fits.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does InsureShip integrate with my platform?
InsureShip is integrated with Shopify, WooCommerce, Checkout Champ, Sticky.io, ClickFunnels, SamCart, Next Commerce, VRIO, UltraCart, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Square Online, Ecwid by Lightspeed, Shift4Shop, Volusion, Magento and Adobe Commerce, PrestaShop, OpenCart, Shopware, NetSuite SuiteCommerce, Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, eBay, Etsy and TikTok Shop (integration built with our fulfillment partner RapidFulfillment). Contact us to turn it on for your store. Zen Cart, osCommerce and Salesforce Commerce Cloud connect through InsureShip's API or a custom integration. Konnektive, WOW Suite, Orbsa and Blacklight are also supported.
Who built InsureShip's integrations?
The integrations were built with RapidFulfillment, InsureShip's affiliated fulfillment company. You don't need to build anything to use them. Contact us, and we enable the integration for your store.
Can marketplace sellers offer insurance at checkout?
No. Marketplaces control their own checkout. InsureShip is integrated with Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart Marketplace and TikTok Shop (built with RapidFulfillment), so shipments for your marketplace orders can be insured. This is seller-side coverage, not a buyer add-on.
Should shipping insurance be opt-in at checkout?
InsureShip recommends, and configures by default, an opt-in (unchecked) offer. We recommend an unchecked, clearly labeled insurance option with the price shown. Some platforms default the widget to opt-out, so turn on the opt-in setting where one exists. Several class actions allege that pre-selected shipping protection was charged without affirmative consent.
Who handles claims?
InsureShip does. Customers or merchants file claims online at /pages/file-claim. Coverage includes loss, damage and theft, including porch piracy, up to $5,000 per shipment.
How much does shipping insurance cost per order?
Pricing averages about $1 per order but is not fixed. It depends on your products and order values. See the pricing page or contact InsureShip for a quote.
Ready to add shipping insurance to your checkout?
Tell us your platform. We will turn on the integration, or walk you through an API setup for Zen Cart, osCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud or a custom checkout.
